Mama's Club - Starting August 2024
The Mama Club is a monthly event during the school year where teen moms and dads come with their children to connect, have fun, and learn how to be great parents. It’s a free night of friends, food, and fun! Whether you’re a pregnant teen or already parenting, come and just be yourself. You’ll never receive judgment at The Mama Club. Plus, it’s a safe place where your child will be loved and cared for too.
When is it?
Every Tuesday during the school year from 6 – 8 pm.
Where is it?
The Mama Club - Location will be announced in August of 2024
Who can attend?
* Any teen mom (including teens who are pregnant.)
* Children of teen moms
* Any young dad can attend with or without the mother of your baby
* All these can continue to attend until the young mom turns 22.
What can I expect?
* FREE meal
* FREE diapers
* FREE childcare
* LOTS OF FUN
* GREAT talks about parenting
You’ll meet friends and adults who are ready to encourage and equip you to be a stronger parent. You’ll laugh, play games, be entertained by the Young Lives team, and walk away each week feeling strengthened.
Can the father of my baby join me?
Yes! The dads hang out and eat dinner with the mamas. The Real Men Club meets at the same time as Mama Club. During the evening, the fathers will break out into small groups where they will be supported in becoming even better dads!
Is there a cost?
No! Absolutely nothing
