STI Testing

Should I Get Tested? Testing is the only way to know for sure that you have an STD. If you’ve had any sexual contact (vaginal/anal/oral sex), you could be at risk.  This is a text for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea ONLY provide by a urine sample. We can test for HPV, Herpes, and syphilis and those require an exam.

What Should I Expect at the Appointment?

  • A staff member will meet with you to get to know you and identify ways we can assist you.
  • A nurse will review your medical history to determine appropriate testing based on your sexual practices and health history.
  • A nurse will answer questions you have about STIs and provide you with materials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • A nurse will oversee sample collection for testing, which includes a urine sample, as indicated.
